Job registration requirement / Managing Immigration

On 8 December 2017, the Federal Council took a decision on how to implement the Act implementing the constitutional article on managing immigration (Art. 121a of the Federal Constitution) at ordinance level.

The job vacancy registration requirement is intended to facilitate the placement of job seekers registered with regional unemployment centres. The measure is intended to tackle unemployment.
