The complexity of ICT architecture is comparable to that of a multi-storey building. Up-to-date blueprints and appropriate levels of detail are indispensable.

We are responsible for professional and efficient realisation of ICT projects requiring specialised applications to meet demands specific to the FDJP’s activities in the areas of “police, justice and migration”.

The Operations & Support group is responsible for managing business-critical specialist applications developed either in-house at ISC-FDJP or by external experts. These applications are operated on modern, highly available, and disaster-tolerant cloud platforms, as well as on proven traditional infrastructures. This hybrid approach ensures the stable, scalable, and secure operation of our specialist applications, while meeting stringent requirements for availability, data protection, and operational security – thereby upholding Switzerland’s digital sovereignty.

The Single Sign-On Portal, or SSO Portal is today the foundation of the FDJP’s central and strategic security infrastructure, providing unified access to critical, sensitive and highly networked FDJP applications. The SSO Portal of the Federal Administration’s Standard IAM Service has been in use since 2015 for applications requiring a heightened security standard.

Around 350 employees are dedicated to ensuring Switzerland's internal security on a daily basis with a great deal of expertise and enthusiasm. The ISC-FDJP currently develops, integrates and operates around 120 IT applications. These are used by more than 40,000 people in Switzerland and abroad.
